What We Do

Develop better movement capabilities while improving strength and power.

Build greater capacities energy systems both specific to a sport and as a whole.

Conduct complete fitness and movement assessments to implement injury prevention strategies derived from data collected.

Break down each athlete's sport and take data collected and focus on specifics to improve performance where it matters.

Program each athlete through their sport seasons with different focuses in-season versus off-season to maximize performance when it matters, reduce injury during heavy workload times and have continued growth of each individual.
Performance Data Tracking
In our Athletic Training program each athlete is tracked with the assistance of VALD technologies that both analyze movements and track data. This helps ensure that we are seeing improved data metrics with our workouts without increasing injury risk. Athletes are able to see their hard work and commitment transform into measurable increases in performance.



Athletic Coordinator
Jeff McCulloch
Our athletic training program is led by Athletic Coordinator Jeff Mcculloch (R.Kin, CSCS) who has worked with athletes for over 15 years ranging from those just beginning to the professional level. He has also coached "AAA" hockey and elite youth baseball teams. He brings his experiences from both of these to help educate and improve each athletes performance.
He continues to work with teams across many organizations such as Wilmot ACES Swim Team, New Hamburg Huskies, Wilmot Wolverines, New Hamburg Skating Club, Tavistock Braves and more.

Jadyn Calder
"Evoke Fitness has had a huge impact on me as an athlete. I have been training here for almost six years now and during that time I’ve significantly improved my strength, power and speed that have been instrumental to my growth on the ice. Training at Evoke has developed me into the athlete I am today and has gotten me from minor hockey to playing Junior for the Cambridge Rivulettes U22 Elite and then to the University level of hockey, where I currently play at the University of Guelph on the Varsity Women’s Hockey Team. I still train here in the off season to continue to build strength, speed, and power to maintain and build on my athletic foundation to enter each season at my peak performance level. I am so lucky to have been able to be a part of such an incredible atmosphere throughout my development as an athlete, not only for my own development but also having the opportunity to take what I have learned and support other athletes throughout their development as well while working here."

"This past summer I was training at Evoke for my upcoming season with the Western Mustangs softball team. Jeff noticed that my program wasn’t as effective as it should be so he went out of his way to make me a brand new program specific to me and my sport. I put lots of work into that program and the results were like none I had ever seen before. I can visually see differences from before and after starting Jeff’s program but more importantly I can see results on the diamond. Jeff made sure to include exercises that were softball specific and I’m now playing stronger than I ever have. My mom said to me after a game that she noticed how much stronger I look at the plate and that I’m hitting the ball much harder than usual. The only thing that’s changed in my training is my workout program so I’ve got Jeff to thank for that!"
